Description
2009 FY WDDO-006 is a doubled die obverse on a 2009 Lincoln Bicentennial cent with the Formative Years reverse, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY's letters, the lower hair and the beard details show extra thickness, and the date shows a little as well. The letters of LIBERTY show notches at their lower right. On the obverse, there are scratches under the nose running south and scratches above it running north, and a crack heads NW from the eyebrow into the forehead. Wexler notes that this variety's reverse is also a doubled die, the one listed as 2009 FY WDDR-055. Brian Ribar submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
