Description
2008-P NM WDDO-005 is a doubled die obverse on the New Mexico state quarter struck at Philadelphia in 2008, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the earlobe's underside. Wexler notes no significant obverse markers. On the reverse, a SW/NE scratch lies over the state outline toward its left side, and a gouge links the M of MEXICO at its lower right with the second 1 of 1912 at its top. Edward Stewart submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
