Description
2008-P NM WDDO-001 is a doubled die obverse on the 2008-P New Mexico state quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the earlobe's underside. Obverse markers: small round gouges (dots) north of the N of IN, just right of the top of that N, and left of the I in IN near its base; and several light gouges over the W of WE. Reverse markers: a dot between the M and E of MEXICO, low down; another dot just over the second U of UNUM, at the left side of its top; and a dot north of the N of LAND. Gerald Weakland submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
