Description
2008-P NM WDDO-002 is a doubled die obverse on the 2008-P New Mexico state quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the earlobe's underside. Obverse markers: a small gouge between the U and N of UNITED, at their upper center; a small gouge between the E and S of STATES, up high; a gouge right of the N in IN near its top; and a small round gouge (dot) north of the mint mark. Reverse markers: a dot between the bases of the N and T in ENCHANTMENT; a dot north of the P of PLURIBUS; and a dot north of the D of LAND. Gerald Weakland submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
