Description
Doubling shows on the underside of Washington’s earlobe.Die Markers: Obverse: None significant. Reverse: A die scratch runs SW/NE above the left side of the state outline. A die gouge connects the bottom right of the M in MEXICO to the top of the second 1 in 1912.Submitted By: Edward StewartCross References: None known Obverse: A die chip can be found on the underside of the center horizontal bar of the E in LIBERTY. A die crack runs across the base of the bust and through the designer’s initials. Die chips can be found near the left point of the bust. Reverse: A die chip can be found on the top right of the reverse design.
