Description
2008-P NM WDDO-004 is a doubled die obverse on the 2008-P New Mexico state quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the lower edge of Washington's earlobe. Obverse markers: a chip under the E in LIBERTY, on its middle bar; a crack crossing the base of the bust and passing through the designer's initials; and chips close to the bust's left point. On the reverse, a chip lies at the upper right of the design. Marilyn Keeney submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
