Description
TrailDies records two trail directions on 2006D-1DER-013T. One set, at 060°, east-northeast, leaves the E and S of STATES and shows faintly on the motto; the other, at 010°, a little east of north, comes from the motto letters and the scroll of the cornice. Its number gives 2006 and the Denver D, the cent's 1, DER for the reverse design extension, 013 for the file and a closing T. On the stage B obverse a small gouge sits in the space separating GOD from WE, with further small gouges below BER in LIBERTY; nothing is noted on the reverse. Jody Allen Gomez found the die. Most attribute trails to rotary polishing of the die, and some to the die moving against the hub.

- Stage “B“, obverse is MDS – a small die gouge is seen between the D of GOD and the W of W. Also seen are small die gouges below the letters BER of LIBERTY.
- Reverse is MDS – none noted.
