Description
The top of the shorter tree shows a spread to the east. The tall tree shows doubling on the underside of the first branch on the left side of the tree and below the land formation. Die Markers: Obverse: Much of the lettering on the lower part of the obverse shows strike doubling on the specimen examined. A vertical die scratch can be found below the left side of the A in STATES. Reverse: A small die gouge (dot) can be found on the land formation north of the top of the volcano. A small die gouge (dot) can be found north of the designer’s initials. A small die gouge (dot) can be found just above the left side of the 1st U in PLURIBUS. Obverse:
