2005 (P) Oregon State Quarter - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-008

Description

2005-P OR WDDR-008 is a doubled die reverse on the 2005-P Oregon state quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the lower right end of Wizard Island. Obverse markers: a small round gouge (dot) NE of the N of IN; a small gouge below the T and R of TRUST, between them; a small gouge under the U of TRUST, left side; and near the rim, left of the D of DOLLAR at its base, a gouge. Reverse markers: small gouges under CRATER's T and E; a small gouge just left of the second tallest tree's base; and a small gouge left of the first U of UNUM near its top. Kenneth Russell submitted the variety. Crawford lists it as CDDR-005, and CONECA as 5-R-VIII.
