2005 (P) Oregon State Quarter - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-007

Description

2005-P OR WDDR-007 is a doubled die reverse on the 2005-P Oregon state quarter, cataloged by the Wexler team. Doubling shows left of the short tree's top and under that tree's top left branch. Several of the tall tree's central branches show a strong spread to the north, and there is more doubling under the high points of Crater Lake's upper shoreline. On the obverse, a gouge lies over the U of TRUST toward its left side, and a small gouge sits left of the P mint mark near its top. On the reverse, a gouge lies left of the E in OREGON, level with its center. Troy Watkins submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
