2001 (P) Roosevelt Dime - Atypical Die Clash ADC-10C-2001-02
Error
Description
ADC-10c-2001-02 is an atypical die clash on a 2001-P Roosevelt dime, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. A strong clash left unabraded marks on both dies. On the obverse, the olive branch clashed into the field ahead of Roosevelt's nose. On the reverse, his nose cuts through the olive branch, the base of his bust shows, the top of his head runs through ONE's E and DIME's D, and the back of his head passes through the oak leaves. The coin and its images are courtesy of Phil Alisauskas.
