This variety was discovered on the 2001 (D) Lincoln Memorial Cent, part of the Lincoln Memorial Cents 1959-2008 series. Die markers: Stage “B”, obverse is MDS – none noted. Reverse is MDS – two small die gouges in between the U of UNITED and the first column. A small die gouge is seen on the inside of the U in UNITED.  A small die dot is seen inside the last A of AMERICA. This die was found by Jeremy Gardner.
