This variety was discovered on the 1998 (D) Lincoln Memorial Cent, part of the Lincoln Memorial Cents 1959-2008 series. Die markers: Stage “B”, Obverse is MDS – Die gouges in and around the date. Reverse is MDS – A small die dot between the N and T of CENT. This die was found by Bob Piazza of Florida.
