Description
1994P-1DEO-008T is a two-way trail die. Very heavy lines come off the TRU of TRUST, with moderate ones on WE, offset at 060°, toward the upper right (east-northeast); the bottoms of the same letters carry lines running the opposite way, at 240°, west-southwest. The code reads 1994 Philadelphia, 1 cent, DEO for an obverse design extension, file 008, T for trails. TrailDies notes this was the 1000th die entered on its site. The stage C coin, late in the die's life, has a small gouge under the B of LIBERTY and two small cracks from the lower left corners of its E and R, plus two die dents below ONE on the reverse. Louis Schaeffer found it. As usually explained, trails come from polishing of the die face; a few attribute them to the die moving against its hub.

- Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – a small die gouge is seen under the B of LIBERTY. Two small die cracks are seen from the lower left corners of the E and R of LIBERTY
- Reverse is LDS – two die dents are seen below the word ONE.
