Description

The visual drama of a cud error depends on two variables — size and position — and CU-1C-1994-02, an obverse cud on the 1994 Philadelphia Lincoln Memorial cent cataloged by Cuds on Coins, exists somewhere on the spectrum these variables define. A small cud near a featureless rim section may barely register, while a large cud obliterating a date digit, part of LIBERTY, or Lincoln's profile commands immediate attention.
