Description
Light trails from the tops of the BERTY of LIBERTY. Notice the saw tooth pattern on the verticals of the B, E and R of LIBERTY. This is typical of trail dies as the 90 degree angle, formed by the junction of the horizontal bar and the vertical bar, crosses over a letter. The offset direction is 290 degrees.
Die Markers
- Stage “C”, obverse is LDS – moderate to strong die scratches through LIBERTY and the DATE.
- Reverse is LDS – die crack on the base of column 3.
