Description

D/D South Die Markers: Obverse: Stage A: Die gouge under first T in TRUST. Die gouge just above the RT in LIBERTY. A strong die gouge shows at the rim at 6 o’clock. Stage B: All Stage A markers visible but weak. Die gouge southeast of bow tie. Reverse: Stage A: Die scratch running north from S in PLURIBUS to F in OF. Stage B: Die scratch above S in PLURIBUS no longer visible. Die crack runs from just west of E in CENT up to the memorial base.
