Description

D/D Tilted Die Markers: Obverse: A die gouge shows to the left of the lower R in TRUST. A die gouge shows under the lower left edge of the U in TRUST. A die gouge shows to the left of the lower second T in TRUST. A pair of die gouges show on and near the back of the shoulder south of the T in LIBERTY. The lower front of the vest has been heavily abraded under the date area. Reverse: A die gouge shows to the right of the right memorial roof edge. A die gouge is centered between the lower E in ONE and C in CENT. Numerous, E-W oriented die scratches run through the lower E in ONE. A die gouge shows along the right edge of the N in CENT. A short, N-S oriented die gouge shows to the left of the central T in CENT. Light die scratches run WNW inside lower memorial bays 2 and 3 and on upper left roof. A die gouge shows on the upper I in PLURIBUS. A die gouge shows on the stairs under column 2.
