This means the die displays both genuine repunching and evidence of a physically damaged punch tool, creating two distinct mintmark anomalies on a single die. The obverse shows a short west-southwest/east-northeast die scratch on the lower right side of the L in LIBERTY above the vertical bar, while no reverse die markers were noted. The minimal supplementary die marker profile — just one scratch on the obverse and none on the reverse — makes this variety more challenging to attribute than RPMs with extensive marker inventories, placing greater emphasis on the mintmark characteristics themselves for identification. No cross-references to CONECA or Coppercoins are currently known.
