1989-D Repunched Mintmark WRPM-007

Description

Distinguished by three precisely located die chips that serve as primary attribution markers, WRPM-007 (Wexler variety ID 1989-D 1¢ WRPM-007) is cross-referenced as CONECA RPM #3 and Coppercoins 1989D-1MM-003. The obverse displays a small die chip (dot) in the field centered below the E of LIBERTY, a second die chip centered behind Lincoln's back, and a third die chip centered between 89 in the date at the level of Lincoln's upper lip and nose — a trio of pinpoint markers that collectively provide a reliable attribution framework. The reverse carries a die crack below column 3 of the Lincoln Memorial.
