1988-D Repunched Mintmark WRPM-011

Designated WRPM-011 by the Wexler team, this 1988-D Lincoln Memorial cent repunched mintmark is cross-referenced as CONECA RPM #4 and Coppercoins 1988D-1MM-004. The CONECA RPM #4 designation places it among the earliest documented RPMs for this date, cataloged during the initial wave of variety discovery that established the 1988-D as a productive hunting ground for repunching evidence. Photographic documentation for this variety is still being actively sought — a common situation in variety numismatics where a variety has been confirmed through direct examination of physical specimens but comprehensive photographic records have not yet been assembled for publication.
