Obverse: Die Markers: Obverse: Stage A: Die deterioration at rim through IN GOD WE TRUST. Stage B: Die deterioration more prominent. Die gouge left of mint mark. Die gouges under 88 in date. Reverse: Stage A: Light die scratches run NNE through lower NT in CENT. Stage B: Die scratches from Stage A no longer visible. Long die scratches run NW from and through NE in ONE and above E in CENT. Die scratch runs NNE through upper bay 9. Numerous heavy die gouges above right side of FG.
