The premier repunched mint mark for the 1985-D Lincoln Memorial cent in the VarietyVista catalog, RPM-001 shows a D/D Southeast — the secondary mint mark impression displaced to the southeast of the primary punch. Cataloged as UVC-991 with die marker record DMR-002, this variety is documented across three die states. In early die state (Stage A), the secondary mint mark is strong and the obverse remains crisp while the reverse shows mid-die-state wear. By Stage B, the secondary mint mark has weakened to medium strength with a light die crack developing on Memorial column 12, indicating advancing die fatigue. Stage C captures the obverse in late die state with a new die crack on column 1, the die now in its final production phase.
