1983 (D) Roosevelt Dime - Repunched Mintmark WRPM-002 / RPM-001

Description

Documented by VarietyVista and cross-referenced as FS-501 in the Cherrypickers' Guide, the 1983-D RPM-001 Roosevelt dime, which Wexler numbers WRPM-002, displays a D/D North repunched mint mark, with the secondary D north of the primary. Wexler notes no die markers on either side. John A. Wexler submitted the coin, and Wexler cross-references it as CONECA RPM #1 and Cherrypickers FS-10-1983D-501. VarietyVista also describes the repunching as D/D North, cites FS-501, and names no reporter. Under its marker codes UVC-611 and DMR-002 it records Stage B, with obverse and reverse in a middle die state; Stage A (early die state) and Stage C (late die state) are unconfirmed.
