Stage A: Die Markers: Obverse: Stage A: Circular die polishing lines throughout most of the obverse. Die gouge above L in LIBERTY. Die gouge right of R in TRUST. Stage B: Stage A markers still present. Die gouges right of first T in TRUST. Die gouge right of G in GOD. Die gouge under left side of N in IN. Stage C: Die gouge under 8 in date. Die gouge right of G in GOD faint. Faint die scratch under 1 in date still present. Other Stage B markers worn away. Reverse: Stage A: Die gouges in bay 6 around Lincoln memorial statue head. Circular die polishing lines throughout most of the reverse. Stage B: Stage A markers present but weaker. Die crack right memorial base. Stage C: Die gouges in bay 6 and die crack right memorial base still present, all other die markers much weaker to absent. Die gouge under U in UNITED. Obverse:
