Description
1977-S WDDO-007 is a doubled die obverse on the 1977-S proof Eisenhower dollar, cataloged by the Wexler team. IN GOD WE TRUST, the date and LIBERTY show moderate Class II doubling. On the obverse, a gouge on the rim lies directly south of IN's I, a short but distinct scratch sits directly west of the T's upright in LIBERTY, and a small gouge lies within the upper left of TRUST's U. Wexler notes no reverse markers. Tim Wissert submitted the variety, with photos by Billy G. Crawford. Wexler lists no cross-references.
