Description

Exhibits moderate Class II doubling on IGWT, date, and LIBERTY.Die Markers: Obverse: Long extending die scratch running parallel on the base of the bust over the mintmark to the designer's initials. Faint die scratch on the rim right of the Y in LIBERTY. Prominent die gouge just west of the horizontal bar of the T in LIBERTY. Reverse: None noted.Submitted By: Tim Wissert (Photos by Billy G. Crawford)Cross References: None known Obverse: Small and nearly horizontal die crack at the back middle ear. Faint but distinct die scratch upper right of the eye running NE through the eyebrow. Die scratch extending SSE through the lower left vertical leg of the R in LIBERTY to the edge of the top of the hair. Reverse: None noted.
