1970-S Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-037

Description

Doubling shows below the horizontal bar of the L in LIBERTY and above the horizontal bar of the 7 in the date. Die Markers: Obverse: A short vertical die scratch runs south from the upper lip. A short vertical die scratch can be found to the left of the bottom of the W in WE. Reverse: A die gouge can be found inside the D in UNITED. A die scratch runs WNW from the top right of the N in ONE. Other die scratches can be found throughout the reverse.
