Description
This 1970-S Lincoln Memorial Cent (Small Date) doubled die obverse, WDDO-004, is cataloged by Wexler (doubleddie.com) as 1970-S 1¢ WDDO-004. The doubling appears below the horizontal bar of the L in LIBERTY. Obverse die markers: two parallel die scratches run SSW from the bottoms of the R and T in LIBERTY, a die scratch runs SSW to NNE north of the T in LIBERTY, and a die gouge sits on the vest SW of the 1 in the date.
