Description

A Class I CCW spread shows on IGWT, LIBERTY, and the date. Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Three die scratches run SW/NE below the 70 in the date. A short heavy die scratch runs SSE from the lower right of the B in LIBERTY. Several die scratches run NNW/SSE near the front of the neck. A long die scratch runs NNW from the upper left of the T in LIBERTY to the I of IN. Numerous other die scratches can be found to the right of the bowtie. Obverse Stage B: The die scratches below the 70 in the date are gone. The die scratch from the B in LIBERTY is much weaker. The die scratch from the T in LIBERTY is gone. The die scratches on the neck and to the right of the bowtie are much weaker. The die scratches through IGWT and in the field to the left of the head have been replaced with a new die scratch pattern. Reverse Stage A: Several die scratches run SW/NE to the right of the T in CENT. Reverse Stage B: The Stage A die scratches are very weak.
