Description
1970-S WDDO-021 is a doubled die obverse on the 1970-S Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. Its doubling shows above the crossbar of the date's 7. Obverse Stage A has a small gouge to the left of WE's W. Obverse Stage B has die clash traces to the left of the neck's back and many north-south scratches beside the bust on its left. Reverse Stage A has a short gouge projecting from the lower right of UNITED's N. Reverse Stage B has a gouge just inside the lower right of CENT's N. Stage A was submitted by Bill Wilson, and Stage B by Delma K. Romines. Wexler lists no cross-references.
