1970 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-022

Description

Doubling shows above the horizontal bar of the 7 in the date. Die Markers: Obverse: Two short, parallel die scratches run south from the bottom of the L in LIBERTY. Numerous other die scratches run from north to south throughout the obverse. Reverse: A short die scratch runs east from the bottom of the 12th column. Short, parallel die scratches run from west to east above the statue’s head. Numerous other die scratches run from west to east throughout the reverse.
