1970 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-002

Description

Doubling shows below the horizontal bar of the L in LIBERTY and above the horizontal bar of the 7 in the date. Die Markers: Obverse: Parallel die scratches run SE from the lower 1 in the date. Die scratches run from north to south below the 0 in the date and below the T in LIBERTY. Reverse: A short die gouge can be found above the A in STATES. A small die gouge can be found below the 2nd S in STATES. Numerous die scratches cana be found throughout the reverse.
