Description
Among the later entries in Wexler's DDO catalog for the 1970 Philadelphia Lincoln Memorial cent, WDDO-011 documents another die that received misaligned hub impressions during die sinking. No cross-references to CONECA or Coppercoins have been established, placing documentation entirely within the Wexler system. The absence of cross-references is common among minor DDO varieties, where the doubling may be subtle enough that independent research teams either did not encounter specimens or classified them differently. Collectors should consult Wexler's die marker photographs for the surface characteristics distinguishing WDDO-011 from adjacent catalog entries.
