Bearing die markers UVC-2236 and DMR-005, the 1970 Lincoln Memorial cent DDO-004 presents a medium spread visible as an extra bar over the 7 of the date. This places it alongside DDO-002 in spread strength while occupying a distinct die identity — each DDO number represents a physically different working die with unique surface characteristics recorded in the Die Marker Registry. The medium spread offers a satisfying balance for collectors: visible enough to confirm under standard 10x magnification without the higher-power examination that light-spread varieties demand, yet subtle enough that most 1970-P cents pass through dealer inventories without the doubling being noticed.
