1968-S Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-002

Description

A very close CCW spread shows on USA and QUARTER DOLLAR. Die Markers: Obverse: A short, vertical die scratch can be found between the centers of the 1 and 9 of the date. A small die gouge can be found between the bottoms of the R and T of LIBERTY. Strong mechanical doubling showed on the specimen examined. Reverse: A small die gouge touches the bottom right side of the D in UNITED. A die scratch can be found between the two leaves above the R in DOLLAR. Obverse:
