1968-S Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-001

Description

A strong Class I CCW spread shows on USA, EPU, QUARTER DOLLAR, and the wreath. Die Markers: Obverse: The obverse has a repunched mint mark listed in the Wexler RPM Files as 1968-S 25¢ Pr WRPM-007. It is an S/S West. A small die gouge can be found just above the right side of the mint mark. Reverse: A die gouge can be found on the eagle’s right wing to the right of the I in UNITED.
