Description

Class I, Rotated Hub DoublingA nice Class I CW spread shows on LIBERTY, the star, the date, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the designer’s initials FS.  The spread widens toward the bottom of the lettering. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge (dot) under upper left crossbar of first T of TRUST; die dot between lower portions of S and second T of TRUST; small series of die gouges between lower portions of 9 and 6 of date; small die dot at front lower portion of Jefferson's bust. Reverse: Listed as 1968-S Pr 5c WDDR-015.
