Description

Class I, Rotated Hub Doubling          "Best Of" Nickel Doubled Die VarietiesA very strong Class I CW spread shows on IN GOD WE TRUST, LIBERTY, the star, the date, and the designer’s initials FS.  The doubling is wider at the bottom of the lettering. Die Markers: Obverse: Vertical die gouge near rim below front portion of Jefferson's collar. Reverse: Strong die gouge between upper portions of first and second columns; die gouge above second column; die gouge to right of long left window.
