Description

Class I, Rotated Hub Doubling          "Best Of" Nickel Doubled Die VarietiesA very strong CW spread shows on LIBERTY, the star, the date, IN GOD WE TRUST and the designer’s initials.  The spread appears to be wider at the bottom of the letters and narrow at the top of the letters. Die Markers: Obverse: Short. vertical die scratch inside upper portion of U of TRUST; die gouge (dot) below and between 1 and 9 of date. Reverse: Strong, vertical die gouge just left of bottom of E of UNITED.
