The 1968-S Doubled Die Obverse DDO-008 is a doubled die obverse (DDO) variety, where a misalignment during the die hubbing process created visible doubling on the obverse design elements. This variety was discovered on the 1968 (S) Proof Jefferson Nickel, part of the Jefferson Nickels Original Design 1938-2003 series.
