Description
1964 WDDO-004 is a doubled die obverse on the 1964 Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. Extra thickness appears on IN GOD WE TRUST, the date and the designer's initials, and the base of the bust shows a spread toward the center. The obverse has a Blunt Tail 9. SW/NE scratches lie under RTY of LIBERTY, and from the eyebrow a die crack heads NNE into the forehead. Wexler notes no reverse markers. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
