Description
1964 WDDR-020 is a doubled die reverse on the 1964 Roosevelt dime, cataloged by the Wexler team. A spread toward the center appears on the upper letters of AMERICA. The obverse has a Blunt Tail 9. Parallel NNW/SSE scratches cross IN's N and GOD's G, and many SSW/NNE scratches run across the obverse. On the reverse, a small gouge (dot) lies left of ONE's O. Joe Groff submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references. Wexler's comments note that it closely resembles WDDR-031 and suggest comparing the doubling and die markers.
