1961 Doubled Die Obverse WDDO-001

Description

Class II, Distorted Hub DoublingThis variety replaces the original WDDO-001 listing which was delisted because it was a doubled working hub.  Close Class II doubling shows on LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, the star and the date. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouges on the rim above the date. Reverse: Vertical series of die dots to the right of the small left window.
