Description

1961-D WRPM-003 is a repunched mint mark on the 1961-D Jefferson nickel, cataloged by the Wexler team. The secondary D is tilted (rotated) relative to the primary (D/D Tilted (Rotated)). On the obverse, a die scratch heads SE off IN's N, from its bottom left, and many other scratches appear across the obverse. On the reverse, a gouge heads ENE off AMERICA's E, from its bottom right, and a small die clash remnant lies just right of the right porch. Brian Ribar submitted the variety.
