Description
D/D NorthDie Markers: Obverse: Die clash remnants at the throat and through the queue. Many crisscrossing die scratches throughout the obverse. Curving N to E die scratch left and below IN. Many strong N/S die scratches below LIBERTY. Die gouge below the right side of the N in IN. Reverse: Many strong NE/SW die scratches throughout the reverse. Strong die scratch extends SW from the first U in UNUM. Strong die scratch extends SW from the steps, touching the left side of the T in MONTICELLO.Submitted By: Brian RibarCross References: None known Obverse: A vertical die scratch can be found to the left of the upper nose. Numerous other die scratches can be found throughout the obverse. Reverse: Numerous die scratches run mostly SW/NE above and below Monticello.
