Description
1959-D WRPM-005 is a repunched mint mark on the 1959-D Jefferson nickel, cataloged by the Wexler team. A secondary D lies northwest of the primary D (D/D Northwest). On the obverse, a vertical die scratch lies left of the upper nose, and many other scratches appear across the obverse. On the reverse, many scratches, mostly SW/NE, lie above and below Monticello. Brian Ribar submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
