Description
1959-D WRPM-003 is a repunched mint mark on the 1959-D Jefferson nickel, cataloged by the Wexler team. A secondary D lies north of the primary D (D/D North). On the obverse, a NNW/SSE die crack lies at the top of the head, with a die chip left of the crack's lower part. Wexler describes the reverse as a deteriorated die with no strong markers. Brian Ribar submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as RPM #1. Wexler includes it in its "Best Of" varieties.
