Description
A close CW spread from a pivot at about 3:00 shows on the LIB of LIBERTY, the date, the designer’s initials, and IGWT which is actually quadrupled (doubled master hub over doubled master hub). Die Markers: Obverse: A short die scratch runs SE from the bottom right of the B of LIBERTY. Numerous die scratches run SW/NE to the left of the upper profile. Numerous die scratches run NW/SE to the left of the lower profile. Reverse: A circular die scratch pattern runs throughout the eagle.
