Description
Extremely strong extra thickness shows on USA, EPU, QUARTER DOLLAR, the wreath, and the eagle’s head. Die Markers: Obverse: A die scratch runs ESE from the bottom of the I in LIBERTY. A die crack runs east across the upper forehead extending into the hair. A die crack runs across the base of the bust. Reverse: A diagonal die scratch can be found inside the upper D of DOLLAR. A die crack runs down the eagle’s right wing. A die crack can be found on the upper part of the eagle’s left wing.
