Description

D/D Tilted (Rotated) Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Light die crack in hair above ear. Die gouge runs SE between T and R of TRUST. Die chips to the east and a second die chip NE of the Y of LIBERTY. Die scratch runs NE from the top left upper edge of the Y of LIBERTY. Obverse Stage B: Die crack has grown with a second branch running west towards the back of the head. Die chip in the field below and between the TR of TRUST. Obverse Stage C: Stronger die crack from bowtie. Die scratch from second T in TRUST almost abraded away. Die crack on head runs through WE and to the rim. Reverse Stage A: Die scratch runs SE from lower S of PLURIBUS ending on the bottom edge of the U of UNUM. NW/SE die scratch runs above NE of ONE. NS die scratch runs along the right side of the left wheat stalk to the left of the O in OF with the lower end ending on the stem. Reverse Stage B: Stage A die scratch running along the right side of the left wheat is faint. Reverse Stage C: Second Reverse. Die scratch NNE from the upper right of the U in UNITED.
