Description

Obverse Stage B: Die Markers: Obverse Stage A: Die scratch runs north from the top of the mint mark towards the 9 of date. N/S die scratches behind the neck. Die scratch on the neck and the lower area of the ear. E/W die scratches at the upper area of the ear. NNW/SSE die scratch through the 5 in the date. Obverse Stage B: E/W die crack in upper hair under D of GOD and WE. Die chip with two branches of die cracks, one die crack runs west and the second branch runs south to the top of the ear. Reverse Stage A: Wavy die scratches in a SW direction through STATES and AMERICA. Short E/W die gouges through the letters of EPU. Reverse Stage B: E/W die scratch runs over NIT of UNITED. Two die scratches running SW through the upper N and U of UNITED ending at the right edge of the left wheat stalk. Die scratch runs SW from the lower N of UNITED. Obverse Stage A:
